New LTD Blog: Surrogate Keys Bite Back

I’ve posted a new blog on LessThanDot, titled “Surrogate Keys Bite Back.”  You can read it here

This blog came up while I was strolling through a database left behind my a previous coworker.  This coworker is well known in the office for his misunderstanding or outright ignorance of database and coding practices.  The oddness that I saw struck a cord, and prompted me to write about it so that hopefully future database designers and programmers will know at last some of what not to do when you have surrogate keys in a database.
